I have high speed cable internet. I use a wireless connection with a top of the line linksys router. I have the xbox 360 adapter on my xbox to receive the signal, but my connection to xbox live is extremely laggy. I have 2 computers in my house one is connected directly to the router, and the other is connected wirelessly. Both computers run internet perfectly. What can I change to fix my connection to my xbox?How do i improve my connection to xbox live?
There are a few things that can interrupt the strength of the signal:
1) Other computers connected to the network
2) Distance the Xbox is from the router
3) Interference, like having the Xbox inside a dresser, or having the router send signals to your Xbox through walls
4) Are you using file sharing programs like Limewire or BitTorrent? These programs can slow the connection greatly.
