How can I compute a circuit with a diagonal connection?

We need to solve a connection in Physics which has a connection in a diagonal form. How can I solve it?How can I compute a circuit with a diagonal connection?
just like you would any other connection. step back and see if its in series or parallel. Try to step away from geometric thinking here. What do series and parallel actually mean. Series connections will share a current and parallel connections will share a voltage. Picture it like this, choose a point before both resistors and another point after them. Now drawing an imaginary line from one point to the other is there more than one path? if so they are in parallel (where the path splits), and if not they will be in series. let me know if you need any more help.
